Geography
The Geography Department aims to provide a curriculum that is interesting and relevant to the World that students current live in now and in the future. The curriculum provides opportunities to inspire a curiosity and fascination about the world that we live in.
Our intent is to inspire students to develop a love of learning in geography so they will want to continue their learning into GCSE and A level. We also aim for students to have a wide locational knowledge and can apply learning about human and physical systems to the locations studied.
We aim for students to develop practical geographical skills by completing fieldwork throughout their time at Heron Hall Academy.
